The night begins with a cozy shuttle to Fremont Studios in Seattle. People from all over the world, dressed to the nines in classy suits and fancy dresses. Everyone eager to see what Bing has in store for us. Bing is honoring a select group of partners that are being celebrated for their exemplary partnership with Bing and for driving an incredible year of innovation and growth.
For us at Kenshoo, our close partnership with Bing has been such a key focus not only on capturing opportunities for our clients but for sharing ideas across both companies to further innovate our industry. From co-branded Marketing efforts with the ever so creative Heidi Coffer to big business strategies and opportunities conceived through collaboration with the man that knows how to make things happen, Aaron Stacy, and the ever so charming and brilliant Shirley Heath.
As we disembark our shuttle escort, we are greeted with friendly faces and a walk down the Bing green carpet — Photographers and videographers capturing the authentic moments as they happen. Immediately upon entering the building, we see selfie stations with glitz and glam and the lovely Frances Donegan-Ryan, who has a personality so inviting and energetic you feel like you’re a musician being interviewed for TRL Live. This event is for rockstar though — Search rockstars. Sharing ideas and strategies for better performance is what brings this family closer together.
In an industry as small as search, it’s more like a family reunion than a conference; seeing faces of past colleagues, current and possible future partners, and friends from all over the world.
After a bit of networking and catching up, we are ushered into an elegantly set dining room with massive screens and extremely cool lighting. A three-course dining experience awaits us, with servers gliding all around the room ensuring our every need is being met. Live music being played by a solo guitarist adds to the class of this amazing event.
Tonight, 22 partners will be recognized for various awards; showcasing categories in Technology, Innovation, and Growth within EMEA, APAC, and North America. And, for the first time, a special overall Global recognition for 3 partner types: Technology, Agency, and Channel.
In a room with 240 Bing Partners, from over 19 countries, Kenshoo was named Bing’s Global Technology Partnership of the Year, in addition to our two previously announced awards:
